Church Court Church Court is a new service currently that is being set up for adults with Learning difficulties and mental health, providing therapeutic environment, approach and support 24/7, 7 days a week, for individuals who need minimal support to those who need a significant amount. Our purpose is to provide individuals with holistic learning by role modelling positive relationships in the fields of arts, crafts, commerce, agriculture, nutrition, living skills and the environment. The building itself is grade II listed and is located in the centre of Stroud town, where individuals have the opportunity to step out their front door and all the amenities are there to access. Stroud and surrounding areas are diverse and provide an abundance of arts, crafts, groups, markets, alternative therapies, social enterprise and much more. This location is ideal for individuals to make the steps to independence and reaching their potential. The accommodation has a maximum capacity of 14 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, over 3 floors, with multiple entrances for those individuals who may be more independent or moving towards independence. The building is spacious without being overwhelming. Alongside the main kitchen there is a training kitchen on the second floor to enable individuals to learn cooking skills. The ground floor can accommodate individuals who may have mobility challenges. Our aim is to progress individuals onto placements in their own accommodation where they have the opportunity to take greater responsibility for themselves and less reliant on support. Our experienced staff team will work with each individual to undertake where possible work experience/social enterprise and transition back into the community, such as individuals moving from hospital environments. At Raynsford Care Ltd we are proud to be supporting individuals to develop their independence skills and strive to create a person-centred homely environment for all. We achieve this by using the principles of outstanding support that is genuinely life enhancing. We value mutual respect and we strive to understand all individuals’ differences and uniqueness. We encourage inclusive learning and living activities that integrate practical activity, thinking and our emotions. Email Address: Home phone number: 01453 765690 Home manager: Jodie Hopes
